Raku fired and interior of all is lined with clear, glossy glaze that has variations of crackling. Exterior varies in accents of partial to no clear, gloss glaze. Raku is a method of bringing the pieces up to temperature, then quickly placing them in beds of flammables that ignite. This creates unpredictable cracks and variations in the glazes due to the quick temperature drop, as well as darkens the clay through exposure to smoke. Each image tries to represent them each as accurately as possible, although there will be variations in each angle due to the nature of the firing process.
Wheel thrown on our tiny pottery wheel & kiln fired, so they all hold water, although most times we like to adorn them with little dried floral findings.
Small potter's mark on the bottom.
Price listed is for any individual, available tiny pot of the series, labeled 1-8 for reference, left to right; each is one of a kind. All are individually wrapped, packaged and boxed as gifts.
